"What do you eat when you need comfort?"

Many ideas!

Hormonobotanik?

  • not big pharma, but recipe as methodology to quesiton gender (and other stuff)

dot Wiki?

What's a wiki?

  • wikipedia but many wiki
  • example of how do we arrange our space
  • from ingredient to translation to recipe to workshop to external, space with many doors and always changing!

What will we be doing today?

  • timeline reading

Web2print?

  • "à la mano"
  • material - many recipe instead of one fixed template conditionnned by tools
  • social practice
  • figuring out together

show the graph!

Screenprinting?

  • flash
  • ...

The things we use!

Ingredients to print

  • Our post-it from the morning exercise, zoom in them, overlay them, cut them, duplicate them!
  • Things you brought! Bite-sized recipes, inspiring quotes?
  • Explore hormonobotanik.wiki, by phytohormonal ingredients? or by type of documents? export as .pdf or even screenshot them!
  • Go to the External Ressources page, or flip through the books we brought for things to scan or redraw.

Questions that feeds us

  • How can recipe become a methodology to question gender? Not only as a result to ingest, but as a process that ask intimate & situated transformative participation from us?
  • What's our relationship to disgusting things: how bodies can be seen as disgusting, how we can nurture curiosity and wonder to disgusting textures or feelings in cooking?
  • How do we translate and embed knowledge and stories inside of recipe, they become vessel for things and their shape can be many: litterary tutorial, visual representation, oral telling, gestural witnessing; on a post-it note, on a wiki, in a message to a friend, at the end of a diner, through a drawing, etc.

Ce que l'on demande aux personnes d'amener

  • une recette importante pour vous, or anything that is a recipe for you
  • it's like you bring an ingredient, we need to be able to cook it together, it shouldn't be too big, a "bitesize something"
  • it could be une photo or a even memory

Si vous aimez travailler sur votre propre ordi bring it, since we will be looking at a wiki (website). Mais pas d'obligation, une grande partie du workshop sera collectif.
